New Mexico Trail Runners Camp
Welcome to Our Wilderness Family
Pecos Canyon Retreats isn’t just a destination, it’s a community of trail runners, hikers and adventure seekers, where the crisp air, vibrant wildflowers, and ancient trails spark connection and inspire return visits. Ready to run, hike, and breathe the magic of the Sangre de Cristo? Join us at Pecos Canyon Retreats.
Discover Pecos Canyon, your gateway to the untamed beauty of the Pecos Wilderness in New Mexico’s Sangre de Cristo Mountains. At 8,500 feet, this camp sits steps from the Pecos River, surrounded by aspen meadows and towering pines, with Santa Fe Baldy’s 12,632-foot summit beckoning. For trail runners, 400 miles of trails lead to alpine lakes, hidden caves, and panoramic ridges, from gentle riverside strolls to epic ascents. Test your limits on technical singletrack and high-altitude routes, perfect for training or chasing personal bests. Or take a leisurly hike and immerse yourself in the mountains afterwards in our basecamp. After a day of adventure, unwind in our cozy yurt or at your campsite, share stories in the communal kitchen, or relax in the sauna under starlit skies.
